I can't get enough making DT pages with this Now and Zen kit, so here is another page using this Asian themed kit from http://www.scrapsofdarkness.com/. I used sketch #221 from http://www.sketchinspiration.ning.com/ I thought the doilies that came in this kit matched perfectly with the circles from the sketch. This is Jasmine in April 2011. She is sitting on what seems to be a tribal circle at our local park.

Scraps of Darkness *May Kit* ~ Free
With this Now and Zen kit from www.ScrapsofDarkness.com, you will see a lot of Asian flair that is really fun to scrap with. I had my kids do a photo shoot at a local park with a fountain. I had them twirl around, and Gisselle did it perfectly. She looks so carefree in this photo. We had a lot of fun that day. The rub on journal says: glistening on fairies wings, little kids dreams are made of magical things. April 2011
I used a sketch from www.StuckonUSketches.blogspot.com by Crafty-Ness. This design is really inspiring.

Scraps of Darkness *May Kit* ~ Shanghai Girl
Another page using the Now and Zen kit from http://www.scrapsofdarkness.com/. This time I took it to the dark side for Celina's Darkest Side Challenge!! I used some dark mists on the papers to take away the brightness and a lot of black embellies. I made a tutorial for the "Shanghai Fans" that can be viewed over at SOD. Here is the link:

I got some chopsticks from Panda Express and paint them black. The dragonflies are images that Renea shared with us at SOD.

Scraps of Darkness *May Kit* ~ Happiness
Here is another page made from the Now and Zen kit from http://scrapsofdarkness.com/. I really loved all the unique beauty this kit had to offer. I was inspired by Sketch #220 from http://sketchinspiration.ning.com/, so this is the page I created by using it. My dad just recently got married, and this is his new wife. May 2011

Scraps of Darkness Reveal *May kit*
Here it is, the moment we have all been waiting for, the first kit I got to design with!! This May kit from Scraps of Darkness is called Now and Zen. It has an Asian flair that can go in many directions, which I hope you can see by the pages I made. None other than Scraps of Darkness would come up with such an awesome and unique theme!!! Enjoy!!!!!
Here is the coolest sketch that comes with this kit, made by Charlotte (Suepup).
This is what I came up with using her sketch titled "Calm". I took my kids on a photo shoot by our city fountain. This is Gisselle posing so sweetly under a gazebo in April 2011.
These are the chopsticks that came with the kit made by Mandy. They are the neatest embellishes ever!!! I cut up some leaves I had from some fake flower arrangements I had from my stash to make my "bamboo leaves". I also added some of the fake flowers too.
With these Creative Imagination papers, I had to make a whimsical page, cutting out all the different designs to make a "Moonlight Walk" theme. This is Gisselle in her Halloween costume in 2010.
These bamboo sticks are a must have in anyone's stash. I love them.
I misted the crane with a few of the mists I got in the color add on. Those lantern charms came from my stash.
I had to make a meditation page to go with this kit. I titled it "Zen". This is me in April of 2011.
I did some masking and used some of the rub ons that came with the kit. The Buddha charm and purple flowers are from my stash.
Here is my secret!! I got puppies!! Their names are Angel (right) and K-Oz (left) and they are 3 month old Maltipoos. They are the cutest little pups ever. I fell in love instantly and couldn't pick between the 2 of them, so we ended up bringing them both home. My kids hearts are overflowing with joy. So this is my introduction to my new family members, titled "Puppy Love". This picture was taken as soon as they arrived home on April 29th 2011.

Sketches: Creatively Yours (06-11) ~ Moments
DT work using Alison McDonald's newest sketch drawing 06-11 over at Sketches: Creatively Yours. When I saw the long rectangle on the side, I thought of trees. So I used some paper from the Immortal Love Stack to create a theme like Twilight. I took a photo shoot of my kids at a fountain park, so this was one of the poses I had the girls do in April 2011. Sketches: Creatively Yours 05-11 ~ Birthday Princess
Here is the latest DT sketch (05-11) drawn by Alison McDonald over at Sketches: Creatively Yours. This gave me the idea of enchantment. So I made a fairytale like page of Gisselle's 5th B-day. We would love to see what your take is of this sketch, so be sure to head over to our blog to post it and see the other wonderful DT pages. Find us on Facebook!!
The journal reads: For Gisselle's 5th Birthday, she had a Princess Party. Both friends and family came. It was a magical day, full of cake and presents. Sep 18 2006
