Here is the awesome sketch that comes with this month's kit made by Charlotte (Suepup).
This is my take on the sketch. I went on the wild side. My son is in the sprinklers outside in our front yard, and he looked like Tarzan, therefore the title, "Jungle Boy". May 2010
I did some fussy cutting with the monkeys, leaves and leopard. I used crackle paint and Stickles on the the thick foliage chippies. I used my personal vine punch and green leaves. I made some scratches just for an extra wild touch.
This page is for the Stalker Challenge, Renea is hosting over at Scraps of Darkness. We are to scrap out favorite band or music artist. I chose "Enya", I listen to her music all of the time, at work, in the car and even on my blog.
The gorgeous stick pin came in the kit, made by Mandy. I used my new personal tear edger to make those zig zag corners and I did some lacing with some new eyelets and string.
I punched a strip of paper with a flower lace design, and cut each individual piece to glue them around the half circle.
Here is my dark page. I got some black cs from my stash, some mist, paint, a Gothic Arch punch and stamps to help make this lo. My husband and I just got off, the Jurassic Park ride at Universal Studios, pretty wet, hence the title "Wet & Wild", in Aug 2009.
I layered the dragonfly to achieve this 3-D look with both pieces that came in the kit. I used a black Sharpie to color the Prima crystal roses. I used the cream cs that came with the kit for this gray, stamped bg.
Here is a page, where I used a lot of extra scraps, nothing ever goes to waste. I used 2 different parts of punched leftovers on this page, the orange borders and green grass, and a lot of different sized papers that had holes in them or were cut short. This is Andrew and the first time he went to a big park. I titled this "Lets Go Exploring". March 2006.
What a funky fun kit, and amazing lay outs..................
