The Vow ~ Punky Scraps & Scraps of Elegance

It is another day for another fabulous Punky Scraps Challenge.  This is the Get Picky challenge #45.    Out of the list of picky items you can choose 3 or more, and here is the list Team A came up with for us:

Kat- Kraft cardstock
Marie- a photo of yourself
Kerry- 3 of something
Jolanda- Masking and something Red
Cheryl W- something metal
Celina- something lucky
Misty- fabric
Ashley- green paint
Kim- something pleated
Mandy- stitching- handmade or faux

To make this page, using all the picky except for the kraft card stock, I used the "Butterfly Dreams "kit from Scraps of Elegance.  My dh and I took these pics on our anniversary at the movie theater, when we went to see "The Vow". There are 3 buttons and also 3 leaves. I did some brick wall masking and used some red mist among many other colors. The brads have metal frames. My lucky piece is the date, itself on the ticket stubs, Feb 29th, 2012 (our 2nd anniversary of 8 years). For the fabric I used cheesecloth which I misted. There is a lot of different types and shades of green paint throughout this page. The film strip is pleated. Fortunately, I was lucky, this Bo Bunny paper came with faux stitching already. So there you have it!!! I did so much painting, misting, inking, stamping, etc...it all just started to blur together. This is something quite unique/different for me. I think I really came out of the box for this one.

Here is the pleated TH film strip ribbon.  I did some weaving with lots of different strips of scrap papers.

I liked how my edge punching came out.  I punched, making sure it wasn't perfect, just for a different effect.  The flower is from Scrapmatts and was painted with Lindy's magicals, just like the black boarder of the page.
