Now on to the reveal!!!
Here is the extraordinary All Hallows Eve kit. It is packed with Moxxie Midnight Dreary, Fancy Pants Oct 31 and Authentique Glowing papers. Those creepy trees are Scrapmatts. And there are tons of transparencies to play with from Pink Paislee Phantom and Kaisercraft 13th Hour collections. Don't forget our huge selection of add-ons. Come see for yourself!! www.scrapsofdarkness.com
Here is the nothing short of spectacular sketch Suepup made for us to use with this totally awesome All Hallows' Eve kit.
When I saw this kit I was immediately in love. You all know how much I love Halloween and the Gothic style, so this kit screamed to me!!! I hardly slept or cleaned my house for days because I had such a love affair with this amazing box of jewels.
This is my take on the sketch called "Frightful". That awesome Kaisercraft 13th Hour die cut paper caught my eye right away and made for an interesting circular shape from the sketch. I love lots of the Moxxie Midnight Dreary papers and punch outs, all scary of course. Everything you see here was from the kit and add-ons. I had to make a page showing off my kids in costume with some of our crazy H-ween decorations. Oct 2010.
The bird is a Kasiercraft acetate shape (main kit). I used the brown vine ribbon (Romance add-on) to wrap around the Moxxie punch out gate (Romance add-on).
I treated the Scrapmatt chipboard tree (main kit) with some black gesso and Shimmerz Enamelz Molten Metal (Color add-on). The flowers are a mix of Petaloo and Prima (Flora & Fauna add-on). The skull card is Pink Paislee (Romance add-on) that I distressed dramatically.
I used a Moxxie Midnight Dreary paper for the creepy bg and went with its design to come up with my scenic creepy page. I framed it with some Authentique Glowing papers and punched cardstock.
These clouds are DA from my stash. I painted them with white gesso, then inked over them with Ingvild Bolme's new Prima Black Coal Ink (main kit). The Scrapmatt tree (main kit) was treated with some Lindy's mist and inked over as well. I used the La Blanche stamp (Color add-on) in the corner. More Kasiercraft acetates (main kit) used here for layering.
This Scrapmatt screen door (Romance add-on) is so cool. I used some Glimmer Glaze to paint it then touched it up with some TH Rusty Hinge ink. The DA gate came from the SOD shoppe, I painted it with black gesso and went over it with the Rusty Hinge ink. The tombstones came from another Moxxie paper, that I glued with 3-D dots. The webs are from a used dryer sheet.
I made this page for Lisa's Scrap that Title Challenge over at SOD to share. The title is "Soulless". I thought long and hard about this one. And figured nothing could be more soulless than an abandoned cemetery.I just bought some cheese cloth and felt like the texture would give an eerie feeling to this page. I used more Moxxie Midnight Dreary papers with an Authentique Glowing paper.
This is Mandy's gorgeous pin (Romance add-on) for this month. With some Petaloo (Flora & Fauna add-on) and Pink Paislee flowers (Romance add-on).
Here is my 4th page. This was made for me to share with you, the new Pandora's Box tutorial feature from SOD on how to make a layout (located at the bottom of this post is the video). I thought I would share something original and creepy looking, adding some lacing I love to put to some of my pages. I titled this"All Hallows Eve" to represent the kit. I used some Fancy Pants Oct 31, Pink Paislee Phantom and Authentique Glowing papers to create this wicked bg. This is my dh and I on H-ween in 2009.
Those bottles were cut out from a Moxxie Midnight Dreary paper. This beautiful bat vine is Prima (Floura & Fauna add-on). I added some small Petaloo flowers (main kit) on it. Those black flowers are Petaloo (Floura & Fauna add-on) as well. the leaves are Prima (Flora & Fauna add-on).
Here is the Scraps of Darkness, Pandora's Box tutorial on how to make my "All Hallows Eve" page. Please feel free to go to the top of my blog to push pause on the playlist so it doesn't interfere with the music from the video. Enjoy!!!!
