Senior Queen

Here's my beautiful almost 18 year old daughter, Jasmine.  She will be graduating in June 2018 from high school.  We just recently did a photo shoot for her senior pictures.  We had so much fun going to different locations with different outfits and shooting.  My other daughter, Gisselle, was my assistant through the whole thing.  It was awesome seeing some of her perspective shots with her camera.  I like to think she learned it from me lol.  This location was my city park that has a life size chess set.  So I put Jasmine as the piece for the queen.  I used a lot of old Scraps of Darkness kits to create the page with a lot of odds and ends of my  pieces of games stash.  High school is a lot of different games and a lot of ways you can play, different strategies with different endings.  Jasmine played right and is rocking her time there, making her a queen for sure.
I printed a Queen chess piece to lean against the photo.  This border was punched using with a heart border punch.  Under it, I used a metallic silver paper so I can make it pop.
For a little bit of fun, I added a Tim Holtz grunge paper crown piece, adding rhinestones and glitter mod podge after painting it black.
The pin was created by Craftysprinkles and came with an old SOD kit.  For the center of the flower I used a circle mirror.  It seemed fitting to use a queen from a deck of cards.
The checker board back ground fit perfectly with the photo.  I added a couple string of square mirrors for a cool extra embellishment.  It represents you,  as you look into it and you see what sorta person you are/have become from the games you played in high school and the outcome it gave you. Pretty deep huh?
Senior is made out of siliver alpha stickers.  Queen was from some alpha rub-ons.
These pretty large purple flowers came in an old SOD kit.  The dice from my stash.
