Footprints

 It's Round Robin time over on Scrapbook.com again.  I was feeling pretty ambitious this month so I participated twice and this time I made this page for Team 4 week 4 for April.  So I am following Doreen, Susanne and Carol.  I kept the original big circle from all their designs, used a birdbath in place of a tree from Doreen's and Carol's layouts, used a photo of a child walking away holding a balloon (instead of holding someone's hand from all their pages), included some journaling using the title as part of it from Doreen's and Susanne's pages, I used some lace in place of Carol's squiggle along the boarder of the layout, did some stitch work on the circle like Susanne and used flowers like Susanne did as well.

I just got my first 49 and Market papers and flowers and had to put them to use right away.  I used the Tattered Garden paper line and used a mix their of blooms with a floral vine.  Everything is terrific quality and couldn't be more pleased with my new stash.

The little girl in the photo is Cali, whom I used to babysit, around her first birthday, at La Quinta park in January 2014.  It is one of many photoshoots I did of her.

 I white washed this Dusty Attic birdbath, then added a string of pearls for décor.

 I added some moss to the mix of 49 and Market blooms.

A 49 and Market vine with some extra flowers added to it.  I hand stitched inside the circle, making a quilted look with added pearls and diamond shaped stitch work.

 A rub on and hand stitches around the boarder of the whole page.

After white washing this chipboard, I used some crackle paint to age it, then used some glimmer misted cheesecloth behind it.
